I’m getting crafty!

Check me out! I’m feeling crafty!!!

It’s half term craft time, woohoo!! Pop goes the cork, down goes the first glass of fizz!

I’m totally winging it as I’m pretty rubbish at this stuff. I’m more of a throw it all together and hope it doesn’t fall apart before the teachers seen it, kind of a mama. Rather than a perfectionist with grand ideas.

Today’s challenge, otherwise known as my sons half term homework, is to create a hat for book week.

Whoop Dee Doo! Thanks for that…..

But, I think this might turn out okay….

So far, I think I’m winning!

Half Term Homework, Half Time Score

Mama 1 : 0 Homework Setters

Meanwhile… Whilst this has been going on, I’ve also managed to recreate last weeks disastrous dinner (see previous post, Don’t quit the day job!). I’m hoping for a better outcome, so far nothing is burnt.

Back in the arts & crafts corner of the Kitchen, even the baby is entertained!

I think he’s going to be a lefty, yay!

If anyone is slightly curious as to what the finished hat will look like, then please get in touch, because so am I!

I haven’t yet figured out how to make this current collage in to an actual hat that will stay on my child’s head!

I should have watched more blue peter!
