Southbank in the sunshine with the Bramley Road Girls

On Saturday I met up with my best friends, the Bramley Road Girls. Rachel and I got the train down to London, dropped our bags at the Athenaeum Hotel and then rather excited, jumped in to a cab! …

It was a gorgeous day in the summer sunshine on the bustling Southbank. There was live music, a food market, dancing, jugs of pimms and plenty of prosecco!

We had booked a table at Skylon, in the Royal Festival Hall. We went for the Grill Set Menu with unlimited prosecco!!!

The food was yummy and the bubbles endless! Which meant we made a wobbly, giggly exit from the restaurant.

We went outside of the Festival Hall and with views of the Thames, London Eye and Big Ben, we found a table next to a Pimms tent and a small stage with live performances.

This get together was to celebrate Keeley and my birthdays. With busy lives it’s hard to all meet up, but every chance we get, is so much fun. It was also the first girly get together since Hayley had her little girl Lilliana twelve weeks ago, so lots to celebrate and catch up on.

We stayed together chatting, until the sun went down!

Then the London girls headed home and Rachel and I made our way back to our hotel in Mayfair.

But not before we’d had a bit of fun at the fayre! ….
